For over 30 years, Dr. Nell Daniel has helped high school students build competitive portfolios to gain admission and scholarships to top-tier programs, including the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Cooper Union, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), as well as leading universities such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford, Yale, and Brown. As the former Director of Admissions at Parsons School of Design, she guides students through the college portfolio process with clarity, rigor, and a personalized approach.
Her one-on-one coaching builds on each student's unique creative goals, strengths, and growth areas. Students don't just prepare to submit a portfolio. They grow as innovators, artists, and confident visual storytellers. The work goes well beyond technical skill, into the sophisticated conceptual development that distinguishes a strong applicant from a competent one.
